How You Could Get It
Giving or getting head without a condom
Fucking or getting fucked without a condom
Symptoms may begin 2-7 days after sex with an infected partner.
Yellow, whitish, watery or thick discharge from penis or anus
Burning and discomfort when peeing
Cramping and discomfort in rectum or abdomen
Discomfort while making bowel movements
Some guys do not experience any symptoms in their throat or butt
Wait at least 1 week after possible exposure to test.
Discuss all three types of tests with your provider to determine which are appropriate for you:
Antibiotics in the form of 1 shot and pills are prescribed.
When You Can Have Sex Again
Wait at least 7 days after treatment to make sure you are no longer contagious.
Due to similarities in modes of transmission and symptoms, get tested for Chlamydia at the same time.
